Sun it rises

Some time ago there was a beautiful sunshine at my desk, which led me to take severeal photos with my small digital camera. Just playing around a bit with angle, hair; nothing special.
So this is me.

This gives me the opportunity to practise once again: just like in the "dandeleon" speedpainting I tried to catch the colours and proportions right without technical help (no colourpicker etc), and like in the black-and-white "family portraits series" I did in December it was of course a portrait-painting practice.

I know that it is always better to grab a mirror and not a photograph, but I feel safer with photos in the moment when it comes to people. Things just musn't move. (I have to do more real-life studies, but rather with objects than with living things... )
