The Gryphonmother :: collab

suggested to do an art share (or collab), where we both draw a sketch, trade it and paint one another's picture. This really was a fun project, so thank you, Caleigh!
We chose the topic "Fabelwesen" (mythical creature)...

This is what I made out of her wonderful sketch, which you can find here.
It was quite challenging as the picture contains so much landscape (rocks! and even more rocks! And crystals!), but looking at some mauntain photopgraphs helped me getting the colors and stone texture right. The gryphon and her adorable children were the fun part about this picture! XD
