Weekly Challenge 47: Old School

Description

Once again I found some time to participate in a Weekly Challenge over at digitalartforum.de. The task was to create a banner with an "Old School" style, so I decided to paint a landscape in a way similar to the way the impressionists did.

I used a self-made photo reference for this. The original photo was made in 2011, if I remember right. It's a fjord at the Baltic Sea near my hometown.

The picture was entirely painted using Photoshop CS4.

Also ich würde mal sagen, du hast das Thema perfekt umgesetzt! :D Sieht wirklich "old school" aus! Das Format find ich aber auch interessant, etwas ungewöhnlich, aber passt echt gut.
